One In An ARMY is extremely proud to announce the results of our first September 2022 flash campaign, Give A Cup With JK, benefiting The Cova Project in honour of Jungkook's birthday!
The Cova Project provides menstrual cups and menstrual health education to people who menstruate, across Africa. They do this in an effort to help bridge the 50 day school attendance gap due to menstruation. They work with exceptional local partner organisations to distribute these cups responsibly and with materials specifically tailored to the communities they are impacting.
For this campaign 809 ARMY raised $23,737! This will fund 1000 menstrual cups and shipment to Uganda, health education sessions for 1000 menstruators and their teachers, and 1 on 1 feedback sessions to make sure the cups are being properly used!
Our friends at The Cova Project have sent a letter to BTS and Big Hit to let them know about how much ARMY helped this month. They also wrote a special thank you letter to ARMY too!
And for the first time ever, we jumped into a space with The Cova Project to discuss menstruation and learn more about menstrual cups work!
