One In An ARMY is extremely proud to announce the results of our October 2021 campaign, Mi Casa Es Jimin, benefiting Casa Frida in honour of Jimin's birthday!
Casa Frida is a shelter located in Mexico City that provides rescue, accommodation, care and comprehensive health care for LGBTIQ+ people who are fleeing extreme violence, persecuted and displaced, people who migrate and young people who are expelled from their homes due to of their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, including people with HIV and other key populations.
For this campaign 649+ ARMY raised $19,355! This helped Casa Frida provide 25 people 3 meals a day for 10.5 months!
Our friends at Frida Casa have sent a letter to BTS and Big Hit to let them know about how much ARMY helped this month.
In addition to raising money for Casa Frida we also gave ARMY the opportunity to write postcards to the people staying at Casa Frida.
And the bonus mission, With Love From ARMY, encouraged ARMY to contribute to their communities by donating supplies or food to local shelters, orphanages, and food banks!
