One In An ARMY are extremely proud to announce the results of our January campaign Heal With Taehyung, benefiting Children's Healing Art Project in honour of Taehyung's birthday!
Children's Healing Art Project (CHAP) brings the healing power of art to children and families facing medical challenges. Their in-hospital art programs are tailored to the needs, wishes and abilities of each child, bringing them out of isolation and infusing their lives with choice, purpose, and self-expression.
Nothing makes an ARMY happier than seeing the look of utter adoration on Taehyung’s face when he interacts with a child. Whether it’s his role as a big brother or his natural caring soul, there is no denying that children hold a special place in his heart. With his passion for art (photography, drawing, painting, and fashion design) it seemed like a natural fit to pick a non-profit that helps children through art!
It was only after we started the campaign that the One In An ARMY team learned the Saturday program – one of the favourites – was due to be temporarily discontinued after January, as CHAP is a small organization and they'd run out of funding for it.
But ARMY came to the rescue!
372 donations poured in from over 40 countries and raised $6,869.74! That's enough to not only rescue the children's Saturday program for January, but is enough to keep it running with staff and supplies for the next SIX MONTHS!
But that's not all ARMY did for CHAP in January. The bonus mission, Taegers For Kids, had ARMY all over the world send tiger-themed cards, letters, and notes to give words of comfort, friendship, and encouragement to the brave children in residence at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital, the main hospital where CHAP runs their programs!

Every month, the One In An ARMY team is blown away by the generosity of ARMY worldwide. Congratulations on bringing the children some fun & healing through the power of art! As always, a certificate has been sent to Big Hit Entertainment letting everyone know what ARMY accomplished for Taehyung's birthday.
And this month, CHAP has something for extra for all of you, in thanks for being One In An ARMY for them!
