That’s our Hoseok (or Hobi) – one of seven members of the Korean boy group BTS. On stage, he’s known as J-Hope, and he shines as a rapper and a dancer.
Off stage, he always tries to keep the other members happy and energized. His motto, “I’m your hope, you’re my hope, I’m J-Hope” is something he often says to ARMY (fans of BTS). Even when he’s not feeling great, he keeps a smile on his face on for others and works through the hard times with them. The lyrics to his song Piece of Peace pt 1 convey his worldview on helping others:
I’ll help them because I was like them
because I had spirit
May your dreams be bright with your nightmare erased

Like Hoseok, One In An ARMY are a group of BTS fans who want to make the world a better place. Using BTS as our inspiration, we’ve run a series of successful donation campaigns and side projects since April 2018.
