One In An ARMY is proud to announce our August 2023 flash donation campaign, Hoppy Birthday JK, in support of Rabbitats in honour of Jungkook's birthday! Donations will assist Rabbitats with rescuing feral and abandoned rabbits, paying for veterinary care, finding good homes, and building sanctuaries. The donation period officially began at 11:00 pm KST on August 26th, 2023. Everything listed in steps 3-5 under our individual giving instructions is optional, but extremely helpful for us to track donation amounts as we have no other way to see how much ARMY has donated (see our FAQ for a full explanation). Our hashtag for the campaign is #HoppyBirthdayJK. The minimum donation amount $1.00 (USD).
How To Donate
Step 1) Visit One In An ARMY's custom ARMY donation page.
Step 2) Donate at least $2.00 (USD).
Step 3) Take a screenshot of your donation watermark with your twitter @. Please make sure donation amount is VISIBLE but strike out any personal information (see example screenshot below).
Step 4) Submit this form. The form is especially important now. Due to COVID-19 many non-profits are overwhelmed and might not be able to track donations for us like they normally do.
About the Rabbitats
From Rabbitats' website:
"Large numbers of abandoned domestic rabbits can be safely, securely and happily housed in indoor or outdoor ‘rabbitats’ built in conjunction with animal shelters, pet rescues, institutions, ‘green’ businesses or on private land under the care of responsible citizens.
Cities contend with abandoned pets and their feral offspring while rural areas deal with unscrupulous breeders who routinely release their unwanted stock. The non-native domestic rabbits soon become a problem for municipalities, businesses and neighbourhoods forced to deal with environmentally destructive natural behaviour like chewing and burrowing.
It’s a tragedy for the loose bunnies as they will most likely be killed by predators, parasites, sport hunters or trappers hired for ‘pest control’.
Rabbitats can help build affordable colony housing for sterilized rabbits and educate new rabbit guardians on low maintenance and sustainable care. Controlled rabbit populations can replace feral colonies."
