Current Campaign

One In An ARMY is proud to announce our February 2022 flash-donation campaign, What HOPE Can Do, in support of What Dance Can Do for Hoseok's birthday! Donations will aid What Dance Can Do organize dance programs and events for children and young adults who are in a vulnerable place because of illness, poverty, exile or/and with no easy access to the art of dance. The donation period officially began at 8:00 pm KST on February 13th, 2022. Everything listed in steps 3-5 under our individual giving instructions is optional, but extremely helpful for us to track donation amounts as we have no other way to see how much ARMY has donated (see our FAQ for a full explanation). Our hashtag for the month is #WhatHOPECanDo. The minimum donation amount $1.00 USD.

How To Donate

Step 1) Visit One In An ARMY's custom ARMY donation page.

Step 2) Donate at least $1.00 USD.

Step 3) Take a screenshot of your donation watermark with your twitter @. Please make sure donation amount is VISIBLE but strike out any personal information (see example screenshot below).

Step 4) Submit this form. The form is especially important now. Due to COVID-19 many non-profits are overwhelmed and might not be able to track donations for us like they normally do.

Step 5) Quote-tweet our pinned tweet or write your own tweet about the campaign using #WhatHOPECanDo. Don't forget to check out the non-monetary Bonus Mission TBA!

About the Organization

From What Dance Can Do's website:

"What Dance Can Do is a non profit organisation. People in our team are volunteers. We operate internationally and organise dance programs and events for children and teenagers made vulnerable by poverty, illness or exile. We believe dance changes lives and that all children should have access to music and dance.

We have two main objectives:

  1. Bring dance to children and young adults who are in a vulnerable place, may it be because of illness, poverty, exile – or with no easy access to the arts.

  2. Advocate dance as a spark for change sharing our experience and the stories of dancers, whose lives were impacted by their art and what they hope it can bring to their audience, society and today’s world’s challenges."
