One In An ARMY is proud to announce the January 2020 campaign in cooperation to support the 100cameras for Taehyung's birthday! The donation period officially began at 10:00 pm KST on December 30th, 2019. Donations will aid 100 Cameras provide cameras to children from ages 10-18 and teach them storytelling and technical photography skills in a way that allows them to express themselves and realize their roles in their community. Everything listed in steps 3-5 under our individual giving instructions is optional, but extremely helpful for us to track donation amounts as we have no other way to see how much ARMY has donated (see our FAQ for a full explanation). Our hashtag for the month is #CaptureLifeWithTaehyung and the bonus mission hashtag is #CaptureLifeWithARMY. The minimum donation amount $1.00 USD.
For the 2019/2020 birthday season, One In An ARMY is also running #WePurpleEarth: a special, 48-hour flash donation project for all seven members. Find out more about We Purple Earth here.

With A Fanbase
If you can’t find an ARMY friend to donate with, you can try reaching out to a local fanbase to see if they’re willing to run a collection pool for your region/country.
Please be advised that One In An ARMY has no way to monitor donations collected through fanbases; donors do so at their own risk. We recommend you only reach out to a base you trust and ask them to provide you with a screenshot that verifies they donated to the campaign. Please contact us if you made a donation through a fanbase and you have reason to believe the money was not donated to the non-profit.
If you don’t want to take the risk of donating to a third-party, save your money for a future campaign and check out the ways you can get involved without donating by visiting our Bonus Missions page or participating in our January Bonus Mission: #CaptureLifeWithARMY!
From 100cameras' website:
"We are a nonprofit organization that works with kids around the world who have had challenging experiences, and we teach them how to process and tell their stories through photography in a way that impacts how they view themselves and their role in their community.
We provide a platform to sell their photographs and give 100% of the proceeds to fund the most pressing needs in their communities, enabling them to see the impact of their contribution.
Our program provides a clearing where kids can process and tell the stories of their past, present, and future through photography with no judgement or expectations.
Working with kids worldwide ranging in age from 10 - 18 years old, our custom curriculum teaches both storytelling and technical photography skills in a way that impacts how they view themselves and their role in their community.
100% of the proceeds* from student photo sales fund much-needed supplies, and our model partners with local organizations in each community that determine which medical, educational or basic needs they need funded the most. In addition, the cameras are left behind with the kids or organization so that they can continue the work."
